MoniTemp

The MoniTemp Temperature Monitor is a device developed by Electron for simultaneous supervision of 3 temperature channels. Designed for high accuracy and reliability, it is ideal for protecting and monitoring dry-type or oil-filled transformers (ANSI 49), machines, furnaces and other industrial processes requiring precise temperature control. In addition to monitoring, the MoniTemp controls cooling and heating (on/off), alarms and shutdown.

The device is built to “strict quality standards” and uses “state-of-the-art electronic components (SMD),” with hardware “designed to withstand harsh operating conditions.” It can be installed directly on power transformers, reactors and substation panels, as well as offshore platforms and chemical plants, meeting the requirements of “IEC, DIN, IEEE, ABNT standards.”

• UseEasy™ Software: The MoniTemp comes with UseEasy™ software for parameter configuration through the USB Type-C port. The download is available on the Electron do Brasil website.
• Accessories: Electron do Brasil offers a range of accessories that can be purchased to complement the MoniTemp solution, including:
• STFE PT-100 Temperature Sensor: Ideal for monitoring dry-type transformer windings, with electrical insulation up to 15 kV and high accuracy. It uses the third-lead compensation principle to reduce errors.
• STE PT-100 Temperature Sensor: Made of AISI-304 stainless steel with a die-cast aluminum connection head (IP 65), ideal for installations exposed to weather and electrical disturbances on transformers and machines.
• Double-door Outdoor Panel (IP 55): Outdoor enclosure for mounting instruments and wiring, with a UV-protected glass viewing window and special weather-resistant coating.
• PT-100 Signal Reference Board: Accessory with precision resistors for checking the temperature value displayed by equipment with a 3-wire RTD PT-100 sensor input, with selections for 0°C, 26°C and 200°C.
