  • Modular: power supply, CPU, optional communication module and up to 8 I/O modules
  • Digital and analog inputs and outputs, PT100 and PNP/NPN
  • Up to 5 communication ports for SCADA systems
  • Options with IEC 61850, fiber optics, SFP Ethernet, Wi-Fi and NB-IoT
  • Free configuration software, MQTT connection and Bluetooth

When to choose this model

When there are many signals to integrate or a concentrator is needed for SCADA or Monitrafo, instead of connecting each device separately.

To configure your quote

List the signals to be connected (digital, analog and PT100 inputs and outputs) and the supervisory protocol. In the configurator, choose the power supply, the CPU with its communication ports and the module for each of the 8 slots.

Description

Electron do Brasil's RTU (Remote Terminal Unit) is a microprocessor-based device with high capacity for data acquisition, monitoring, indication, control and supervision. Its reliability and efficiency make it a robust, versatile, configurable solution with numerous application possibilities.

The RTU offers many implementation advantages. Its software is free to download and use, easy to learn and simple to configure. Module configuration is fully flexible, allowing the user to specify the product to best suit the application. It can be configured to provide up to 5 communication ports for SCADA systems. The device's programming logic is unlimited. Internet connectivity through an MQTT broker provides access to status and parameters via a web page or mobile app, with Bluetooth pairing.

The RTU is a modularly configurable device, meaning that the number of modules must be specified to meet the intended application. The standard Electron RTU configuration consists of:

1 Power Supply Module (RTU-PW).

1 CPU Module (RTU-CPU).

1 Communication Module (RTU-DCM) (optional).

And up to 8 modules for input/output signal processing (DI, DO, AI, AO, PT-100, NPN/PNP) and/or dedicated modules.

The RTU is a compact device made of extruded aluminum with an electrostatic coating that protects it against external chemical agents. The aluminum enclosure protects the circuit boards against external noise and disturbances and provides excellent heat dissipation, extending the life of electronic components. It mounts on a 35 mm DIN rail on the panel backplate.
