GDSCAN 6200
Hydrogen (H₂), Moisture, Pressure and Temperature Monitor
Hydrogen, moisture, pressure and oil temperature monitor for tracking transformer condition and supporting predictive maintenance.
Description
The GRIDSCAN 6200 is a state-of-the-art monitor for electrical transformers, developed by H2scan. Its main function is to provide advanced predictive diagnostics and continuous monitoring by integrating multiple sensors into a single device. It precisely measures hydrogen (H₂) levels, moisture, pressure and insulating oil temperature, enabling early detection of dielectric faults and prevention of catastrophic events.
The GRIDSCAN 6200 monitors four parameters crucial to the health of electrical transformers:
- Hydrogen (H₂): Considered the first gas associated with dielectric faults, monitoring it is essential for detecting internal overheating.
- Moisture: Moisture monitoring is critical for identifying insulating oil degradation and preventing internal short circuits.
- Pressure: Pressure variations can indicate operating anomalies and help detect structural leaks.
- Temperature: Temperature measurement helps predict thermal faults and overloads, supporting preventive maintenance. When continuously monitored, these parameters provide a comprehensive view of the transformer's operating condition, allowing intervention before minor problems become critical.
