TIIE
Isolated Temperature (PT100) / Current (mA) Transducer
Isolated temperature transducer that converts PT100 sensor measurements into a current signal for supervisory systems.
Description
The Electron Isolated Intelligent Transducer (TIIE) is a device developed to:
- Receive Signals: Accepts resistive, voltage and current signals.
- Convert Signals: Converts received signals into analog outputs (4 to 20 mA or 0 to 10 V) or digital outputs (Modbus RTU and DNP 3 L1).
- Alarm/Shutdown Functions: Performs alarm or shutdown relay functions, configurable according to the customer's selection.
- Signal Transmission: Sends the signal through the RS485 digital output or analog output, or displays it on an optional local display or in proprietary software through the USB port. The TIIE has galvanic isolation between the power supply, input and output circuits to prevent interference, and LEDs for power, fault and alarm indication. It can optionally be supplied with an OLED display to indicate the measured quantity and alerts.
The device was developed with galvanic isolation between the power supply, input and output circuits to prevent interference with their respective signals. It has LEDs for power, fault, alarm 1 and alarm 2 indication. As an option, this IED can also be supplied with an OLED display showing the measured quantity and fault and alarm alerts.
Its analog outputs are configurable using UseEasy™ software (available as a free download). A relay identifies sensor reading faults. Up to 2 alarm contacts with programmable delay and hysteresis. It also has a front USB port for parameter configuration and monitoring using UseEasy™ software.
Its enclosure, the smallest on the market, is designed for 35 mm DIN rail mounting, and its pluggable connector system simplifies installation and maintenance
