Description

The IPTP (Tap Position Indicator and Parallel Operation Controller) is a device designed for remote tap position indication on transformers using on-load tap changers with a potentiometric ring. Its main function is to manage transformer parallel operation using the master-follower method, supporting up to 32 networked devices, with one acting as MASTER and supervising the others. It also detects and indicates faults, makes autonomous decisions and provides information for system self-diagnostics.

The IPTP is built to strict quality standards and designed to withstand harsh operating conditions. It can be installed in power substation yards, offshore platforms and chemical plants. It meets the requirements for performance, withstand capability and reliability specified by IEC, DIN, IEEE and ABNT standards.
