Split-core Current Transducer (10A) with 4–20 mA or AC Output
Split-core current transducer for converting measured current into a signal compatible with the monitoring device.
Description
The Split-core Current Transformer (CT) is an instrument that converts currents from electrical circuits into 4 to 20 mA or 0 to 0.333 VAC signals for communication with other supervisory and monitoring IEDs (Intelligent Electronic Devices).
The split-core CT is designed for easy installation in both new and existing networks. Installation does not require disconnecting any cables in the transformer switching or control center. A conventional CT requires interrupting the circuit to pass the cable through the equipment terminals, making installation more complex and costly. It meets the requirements for performance, withstand capability and reliability of IEC, DIN, IEEE and ABNT standards.
